A Piece of Austin’s History
Located in the historic Jacob Larmour Block on Congress Avenue, Swift House brings modern events into one of downtown Austin’s landmark spaces. Dating back to the late 1800s, the building was tied to Jacob L. Larmour, one of Texas’ most influential 19th-century architects and a defining figure in the development of Congress Avenue.
With its preserved historic character, downtown setting, and elevated atmosphere, Swift House gives every gathering a deeper sense of place — a venue where Austin history and modern hospitality meet.

You’ll find us right in the heart of downtown Austin at 916, 918, and 920 Congress Ave, on the corner of 10th St and Congress Ave!
How do I check availability, request a proposal, or schedule a tour?

How do I confirm a booking?
Once you’re ready to lock in your date, we just need a signed contract and a deposit to make it official. Easy as that!
What parking is available?
Street parking is typically available along 9th and 10th Streets (approx. $2.50/hour), payable via the Park ATX App or QR codes at nearby meters. For garage options, the 816 Congress Garage (179 W 9th St, ~$8/hour) and 823 Congress Garage (910 Brazos St, ~$15/hour) are both close by. Can I bring my pet to an event?
As much as we love pets, we have to keep it to service animals only at our venue. Thanks so much for understanding!
Can I hold a photo or film shoot at Swift House?
Absolutely! We’ve hosted everything from photo sessions to full production-style film shoots here, so we’d love to have you. Just reach out to our team to check availability and get everything set up
